Emerald deposits are currently mined in Colombia, Brazil, and Zambia. Emeralds are also mined throughout the world (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Russia, Australia, United States) but these are the three major sources.

They are connected to fertility, growth and peace and have a history that spans millions of years and much admiration. It has been associated with abundance, prosperity, and the awakening of the heart.
